Hello! I am Iris Dong, an illustrator and concept artist from Shenzhen, China.  I am currently pursuing a career in illustration.

My interest in art developed at an early age. My first inspirations were illustrated storybooks and all things related to the natural world. Although my works now cover a range of subjects, landscapes remain my greatest interests and my eternal source of inspiration.

Since the age of 15,  I have been drawn to Tolkien's legendarium. I have always been fascinated with The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The beautiful scenes and lively characters have become an important motivation for me to study art.

I attended Rhode Island School of Design and studied illustration from 2022 to 2026. I was interested in almost everything, so I tried to create art in a wide variety of styles and materials (especially in the first two years). Since the second half of 2024, I have shifted my focus to digital illustration.

I am currently seeking work in fantasy illustration and concept design.
